Alexia Laroche-Joubert named Banijay France CEO.

Effective from September 1, Alexia Laroche-Joubert will succeed Francois de Brugada as CEO of Banijay France, overseeing 15 labels within the French portfolio, expanding and diversifying the pipeline, attracting fresh talent, seeking new areas for growth, and driving international collaboration to leverage the group's potential.

Laroche-Joubert has been at Banijay since 2016 and she has served as CEO for Adventure Line Productions (ALP). She recently launched the scripted label Screen Line Productions.

As executive producer of "Koh Lanta," the long-standing French version of "Survivor," and "Fort Boyard," which has been on air for over 30 years, Alexia Laroche-Joubert has a proven track record in non-scripted TV. She also revitalized Miss France, making it one of the top three most-watched reality shows in France in recent years.

“Alexia has been a leading force for us in France for a number of years, and with entrepreneurialism and creative spirit at her core, she is the perfect profile to lead our French operations from here-on-in,” said Marco Bassetti, Banijay CEO.

Named Banijay Events, the division will build on Banijay’s parent company FL Entertainment’s recent investment in The Independents, a global marketing and communications group for luxury and lifestyle brands, as well as Banijay’s acquisition of Balich Wonder Studio, the Italian entertainment group.
